Four young golfers to join Faldo Series Asia
(VOV) -Four young golfers will represent Vietnam at the 8th Faldo Series Asia Grand Final to be held at Mission Hills Golf Club in China in March 2014.
The golfers are Ngo Bao Nhi (Girls’ Under-21), Truong Chi Quan (Boys’ Under-16), Do Le Gia Dat (Boys’ Under-21) and Tran Chieu Duong (Girls’ Under 16).
They were selected after the two-day Faldo Series Vietnam Championship at Laguna Lang Co Golf Club in Thua Thien-Hue province.
The 2013-2014 Faldo Series Asia schedule features 19 tournaments in 15 countries, including four in China, two in India and the remainder in the Philippines, Taiwan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Brunei, Japan, Pakistan, Indonesia and Thailand.
Established in 1996 by Nick Faldo, 40 Faldo Series tournaments now take place in 30 countries worldwide with more than 7,000 golfers participating in each year.
