Foreign choirs to compete in Quang Nam
(VOV) - The third International Choir Competition will open in Hoi An city on June 19 as part of the fifth Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2013.
Choirs from Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Taiwan (China), Malaysia, the US, and Vietnam will take part in the event.
The competition offers local and foreign music lovers an opportunity to enjoy a range of choir singing, as well as the artists the chance to share experiences and strengthen international cooperation.
In addition to the competition, musical groups will entertain local people and tourists with “International Melody” street performances in the old quarter on June 20.
The “Vietnam-ASEAN Cultural Heritage Space”, featuring acts by both local and foreign artists, will also take place as a key event during the Heritage Festival.
