Foreign beauty queens gather for Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 press conference
VOV.VN - Four Asian beauty queens enjoyed a reunion at a press conference held in Ho Chi Minh City on September 7 to announce the top contestants and sash awarding ceremony of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022.
Arayha Suparurk, Miss Grand Thailand 2019, who also won the second runner-up title at Miss Grand International the same year, was among the participants.
The other Southeast Asian beauties included Liv Chivly, Miss Grand Cambodia 2020, who clinched a Top 20 finish in Miss Grand International 2020, and Han Thi Thet Lwin, Miss World Myanmar 2018.
Most notably, the event witnessed the presence of Vongkhamxao Phoutsavanh, winner of Miss Grand Laos 2022, who is set to vie for the Miss Grand International 2022 crown to be held in Indonesia this October.
All four beauty queens gave an impressive self-introduction on the stage, receiving a warm welcome from local audiences.
Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 was launched in July in order to seek a local representative to the Miss Grand International (MGI) beauty contest slated for Indonesia on October 25.
During the press conference held on September 7, the Top 52 finalists were announced, with the grand final due to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 1.
