Five Vietnamese models in spotlight at ASEAN International Fashion Week
VOV.VN - Five local models recently grabbed attention at the ASEAN International Fashion Week in Singapore.
The models include Pham Van Quoc, Dang Anh Duong, Cao Quoc Thang, Thach Kiem Mara, and Do Quang Tuyen who were contestants of Mister Vietnam 2024.
As "ASEAN model ambassadors", the five Vietnamese models, along with other outstanding candidates from various countries in the ASEAN region, showed off costumes by 40 designers from Australia, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Aki Quang, general director of the programme, said the individuals are all very special as they represent many generations of Vietnamese models.
"This is an opportunity for young Vietnamese models to gradually get in step with international fashion,” he added.
Hayden Ng, the founder of the event, revealed that the purpose in organising the occasion is to encourage promising fashion designers, models, and creators throughout Asia to join the international playground, while simultaneously linking the ASEAN fashion community with the international community.
