Fireworks Competition promotes Danang’s image
The 2011 Danang International Fireworks successfully ended on April 30 with impressive performances from five fireworks teams.
With a perfect combination of music and fireworks, the Parente Fireworks team from Italy won the first prize with its marvelous display called “ the Vitality of the River”.
The Hanwha team from the Republic of Korea and the Panda from China came second while Vietnam’s Danang team and Jubilee Fireworks from the UK took third prizes.
Talking about the performances, Nguyen Manh Hai from Danang said that he has seen significant improvements in Danang’s team after four years of participation in the festival.
Peter Kandis, a visitor from the US, said he could not see any difference between the performances in Danang and other prestigious world fireworks contests. He said he was really impressed by the organisation and the hospitality of Danang people.
The successful organisation of the competition has made it a special feature of the central city and promoted its image to international friends.
