Film showcasing Vietnam-China relations premieres in Beijing
VOV.VN - A film depicting Vietnam – China friendship was recently introduced in Beijing by the Film Art Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC).
Accordingly, as part of tributes to the 75th founding anniversary of joint diplomatic ties (January 18, 1950 - 2025) and the Vietnam-China Humanity Exchange Year, the film entitled “Bien Hai” (Border Sea) drew significant attention from the viewing public.
It vividly demonstrates the traditional friendship between the peoples of the two countries, as well as the unique cultural characteristics of the Kinh ethnic groupresiding in China.
It tells a touching love story between A Dung, a young man from the Kinh ethnic group, and A Hoa, a Vietnamese woman. Their fateful meeting takes place in a bustling border market. Over time, their love and dreams become the driving force that helps them overcome challenges. Their story, full of poetic passion and youthful vigour, unfolds in a foreign land.
The film captures the sincere emotions between Chinese and Vietnamese people through a nuanced narrative, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange between the two countries.
According to Song Zhicai, Executive Deputy Director of the CFLAC Film Art Center, the film showcases the growing economic and trade exchanges and people-to-people interactions, illustrating the increasingly close cooperation between China and Vietnam and the positive impact of their relationship on the world stage.
