Film director Truong Ngoc Anh honoured at Women of the Year Awards
VOV.VN - Vietnamese actress and film director Truong Ngoc Anh has been honoured at the Women of the Year Awards launched by Glamour magazine.
The actress was presented with the International Celebrity & Business Force prize in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the field of film and business.
According to Glamour, Ngoc Anh is a famous Vietnamese actress who has participated in more than 30 films and received plenty of prestigious awards.
It went on to note that Anh has also affirmed her talent and influence in the field of production and business.
Ngoc Anh, 47, is an actress, fashion model, film producer, and entrepreneur hailing from Hanoi. She was awarded a Mai Vang (Golden Apricot) award, the Vietnamese equivalent of an Oscar, for Best Actress for her role in Ao Lua Ha Dong (The White Silk Dress) in 2006.
She won the Most Photogenic award at the International Model Search of Asia in 1995 and was named the winner of the Miss International Model pageant held in Cairo, Egypt, in 1998.
She has been invited to judge many global events, including the Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) in the United States, the 58th Asia-Pacific Film Festival in China, and the Panam Anim animated film festival in France.
