Festival promotes culture and tourism of Dien Bien
VOV.VN - Dien Bien provincial department of Culture, Sports and Tourism plan to organize a festival in Dan Phuong, a suburban district of Hanoi to promote cultural and tourism activities and introduce major festivals of the northern province of Dien Bien.

The event is seen as the way of preserving the cultural identity of ethnic minority groups and offering opportunities for businesses to fully tap into the local tourism market.
During the festival to take place from December 29th, 2018 to January 1, 2019, there will be a string of diverse activities such as art programs, and a photo exhibition with the aim of introducing visitors farm produce, local specialties, cuisine, and folk games.
