Fencers pocket seventh gold medal at Asian Champs
Vietnam won their sixth and seventh gold medals in the Southeast Asian Fencing Federation Championship after winning team events on the fourth day on November 15.
At the Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium, the Vietnamese fencers proved too strong for their opponents.

Vietnam 1 and Vietnam 2 finished one-two in the men’s sabre event and compettion.
Malaysia shared third place with Thailand.
In the women’s category, Vietnam 1 brush aside Singapore in the foil event to win gold.
Vietnam 2 and Thailand came in third.
The tournament finishes on November 16 with three finals in the women’s team epee and sabre events and men’s team foil.
