Female footballers win two AFF awards
(VOV) - The ASEAN Football Federation has presented Vietnam’s women’s football team with two awards in a February 25 announcement, recognising both individual and collective efforts.
As the 2012 AFF Cup champions, Vietnam now officially boasts the best women’s football team in the Southeast Asian region.
Goalkeeper Kieu Trinh was also named the region’s best female football player.
The AFF will host a presentation ceremony in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on April 3.
