Exhibition on “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air”
More than 600 documents, including books, newspapers, paintings and photos on the “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air” victory collected from inside and outside the country are on display in Hanoi from December 26-31.
The exhibition provides a deep and comprehensive insight into the nation’s great victory 40 years ago.
Hanoi in 12 memorable days and nights during the B52 air blitz in December 1972 is vividly depicted through the exhibition.
Also on display are documentations relating to the establishment and development as well as the glorious triumphs of the Vietnam Air Defence - Air Force, the signing of the Paris Accord on January 27, 1973, the US violation of the peace agreement and anti-war campaigns around the world.
