Exhibition marks Hanoi liberation anniversary
An exhibition highlighting the people, culture and history of Hanoi opened in the city on November 5 on the occasion of the 64th liberation anniversary of the capital (October 10, 1954-2018).
On display are 250 paintings, graphics and sculpture works featuring Hanoi girls, flowers, landscapes, and locals’ daily activities and production.
Through the works, young artists show their creative and young insights of life, along with enthusiastic works of old artists.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Pham Kim Binh, President of the Hanoi Fine Art Association said that over the past 50 years, fine art section of Hanoi has seen significant progress.
Noting that Hanoi is experiencing strong growth in economy and culture, local artists have exerted efforts to present the production, national construction and defence, reform and international integration, she said.
The exhibition will last until October 14 at No. 2 Hoa Lu street.
