European Literature Days 2017 opens in HCM City
VOV.VN - The second European Literature Days 2017 kicked off May 9 on Ho Chi Minh City’s Book Street with a broad array of activities for book lovers.
Talks with European authors, such as Italian writer Lorenzo Angeloni and painter Quentin Greban and introductions of new books will be the highlight of the event.
The festival attracted eight countries in the EU, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Denmark and Austria.
During the event running through May 16, visitors can get book discounts and vouchers.
The literature festival is part of the “European Days 2017” in Vietnam co-hosted by the Delegation of European Union, embassies of the EU member states and the European Cultural Institutes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Hue from May 6 – 28.
