Embassy promotes Vietnam image to Italian friends

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Embassy in Italy hosted an online lottery on December 6 to choose three lucky individuals for Vietnam – France roundtrip air tickets to explore Vietnamese culture, landscapes, and its people.

At the drawing ceremony, three winners - Grazia Di Stefano, Gullo Massimo Edil Guido, and Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung – were unveiled to receive Vietnam Airlines tickets for their round trips.

The lottery draw was part of the Vietnamese Tourism Promotion Program in Milan which was launched on November 24 to promote the country’s image in Milan, step up tourism cooperation, and enhance people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and Italy.

The program introduced several beautiful images of Vietnam in many public places around Milan to popularize major destinations, distinctive dishes and identities of all 54 ethnic groups of the Southeast Asian country among local people.

Accordingly, train cars in Milan were colorfully decorated with large-sized photos of Vietnam, to help Italian people gain greater insights into the beauty of the country.

Diverse tourism promotion activities were also organised in Milan in the contest of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Italy.

These similar events are anticipated to be held in other cities across Italy in the coming time.
