Drawing contest to depict Vietnam-Cuba ties launched
VOV.VN - A drawing contest was launched on September 14 with the aim of celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cuba.
Organised by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the competition is being held for the purpose of spreading information about the historically-friendly ties between Vietnam and Cuba among children and young people.
Vietnamese citizens aged from six to 15 will be eligible to participate in the competition, with a specific focus on those who participate in art clubs at primary and secondary schools.
Each submission will be judged based on their portrayal of the background of the mutual relationship between the two countries. Most notably, the organising board will be focusing on depictions of Cuba, legendary President Fidel Castro along with his friendship with President Ho Chi Minh, activities held by both nations in the past, present, and future, in addition to the activities of children from the two countries.
All entries should be sent to the organising board before October 31 at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee in Hanoi.
