Do Thi Ha bows out of Top 10 of Beauty with A Purpose segment
VOV.VN - Vietnamese representative Do Thi Ha has dropped out of the top 10 of the Beauty With A Purpose segment at Miss World 2021 which is underway in Puerto Rico.
This comes after Ha prepared a project with the theme of “Peaceful Houses” in order to assist flood victims as she competes in the global beauty pageant.
The project largely focuses on Tra Don commune of Nam Tra My district in the central province of Quang Nam, an area that was heavily impacted by flooding back in 2020. It was completed in April after one year, with a total of 18 houses built in order to help local people stablise their lives following the devastation of the weather event.
Furthermore, Ha also failed to win the Miss Talent and Miss Sports segments.
According to the official fanpage of Miss World, the top 10 winners of the 'Beauty With A Purpose' segment went to the contestants from Kenya, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, India, the United States, Madagascar, South Africa, Nepal, and the UK.
Most notably, the beauty from Mongolia won the Miss Talent title, while the contestant from Mexico grabbed the Miss Sports title.
Earlier in the competition, Ha was named among the top 13 in the Top Model segment and in the top 16 of the Head to Head Challenge.
The final night of the Miss World 2021 pageant is set to take place on December 16 in Puerto Rico.
