Disabled people eager for Vietnam’s Got Talent
Many disabled people have showed off their talent in the Vietnam’s Got Talent show. With iron will, they confidently proved their ability, with the message “I Can.”

artists who he saw on television or on the Internet. Tan asked his mother to take him to the
Vietnam’s Got Talent to perform a famous dance by the King of Pop Michael Jackson.
Vu Van Tu, 19, an innate visually-impaired man, played the guitar at the first
Vietnam’s Got Talent show. He now lives at a charity center in HCM City. Tu said
he had passion for the guitar when he was very small. He learned to play the guitar himself.
A group of contestants at the age of 16-45 from the An Phuc Center for Disabled
People in Binh Duong province touched the heart of many people. They
sang and played electric organs in solo and group.
Hoang Nhat Quang, 23, is a bartender at a night club in Hanoi.
He played Tay Thi, a famous beauty in Chinese history, in a short play
entitled “Kingdom and Beauty”, which is combined between Cai Luong
Ho Quang (modern play) and dancing. Quang said he likes fashion design,
singing, dancing and he wanted to mix all of them in this play.
Tran Anh Duy and her daughter Tran Nguyen Bao Nhu joined the
competition together. Bao Nhu performed catwalk skill while her mother
showed off hair design talent. Her hair model is her daughter.
Tran Phuong Vy, 14, and Luu Khanh Toan, 16, performed an extract from
“Phantom of the opera". They came from the Mui Ne Center for Disadvantaged People.
In Can Tho, the eldest contestant is Quach Van Do (photo), 86. Do lives at a charity center in
Soc Trang province. The youngest contestant is a four-year-old boy.
The first Vietnam's Got Talent show attracted around 2,000 candidates in HCM City on November 4, and nearly 1,500 each in Can Tho city on October 30 and Long An province on October 28.
