Dance sport contestants compete in Hanoi
(VOV) - The National Dance Sport Championships and Open Dance Sport Cup 2012 opened at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi on October 12.
The two tournaments have attracted more than 200 pairs of dancers from 33 clubs in Hanoi, Hai Duong, Haiphong, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City and the People’s Court.
The dancers are competing for 62 sets of medals in both tournaments.
The couples competed in 10 Latin and Standard dances on the first day of the event.
The best dancers in the tournament will be chosen to prepare for regional and international championships in the future.
