Danang Fish Praying Festival
(VOV) -Thousands of fishermen and visitors came out on the morning of March 6 for opening day of the annual Cau Ngu (Fish Praying) Festival in the central city of Danang to celebrate and pray for a good fishing harvest this year.
Handmade arts and crafts, drumming, praying rituals, lion dancing, sacrificial offerings, music and food were all part of the festivities along with football and tug of war.
The festival expresses the cultural values and captures the spiritual life and respect of local people for the sea.
