Dak Lak hosts National Vovinam Club Cup 2012
(VOV) - The National Vovinam Club Cup 2012 tournament opened in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak on November 2.
The third event of its kind features 250 martial artists from 17 cities and provinces nationwide, as well as the Army and the People’s Public Security, who will compete in 22 combat and 20 demonstration events.
The tournament is expected to be exciting for spectators as it includes the participation of experienced strong teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Hanoi and Thanh Hoa, as well as teams with great potential such as Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai and Dak Lak.
The event, which will conclude on November 4, offers the athletes a good chance to gain more experience and prepare for Asian and world championships, as well as the 27th SEA Games.
