Daegu artists perform in Da Nang to deepen Vietnam-RoK cultural ties
VOV.VN - Nineteen artists from Daegu, the Republic of Korea (RoK), will bring a fresh artistic experience to the central city of Da Nang on August 8 with the international friendship concert "A Midsummer Night's Sound: It's Art! – Summer Echoes: New Horizons in Art."
The event, set to take place at Trung Vuong Theater, is seen as as a main highlight of the 2026 Da Nang Vietnam-RoK Festival, organized in partnership with RoK firms KAN Entertainment and Art Avenue Company.
Featuring vocalists, conductors, and a professional orchestra, the performance weaves together classical roots and contemporary flair across two distinct halves.
The opening act presents the Incanto Soliste Ensemble performing celebrated opera, operetta, and crossover pieces. The second half shifts energy as Orchestronica merges symphonic instrumentation with electronic sounds and modern stage production.
Alongside its musical appeal, the concert serves as a symbolic cultural connection between Vietnam and the RoK, strengthening ties and expanding exchanges between Da Nang and Daegu.
Hosting the concert shows Trung Vuong Theater’s ongoing effort to introduce high-caliber international arts to local audiences, promoting Da Nang as a dynamic, innovative, and integrated destination for regional and global cultural events.
