Da Lat honoured as Festival City of Asia
VOV.VN - Da Lat, which is renowned for being the city of flowers in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong, was resgconised as the Festival City of Asia at the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) ASIA which was held on February 28 in Thailand.
According to Dang Quang Tu, chairman of the Da Lat City People's Committee, the southern city was also selected among the Top 5 Impressive Festival Cities of Asia.
Furthermore, Da Lat Flower Festival was also honoured in the category of Best Asia Flower and Garden Festival.
Held every two years, Da Lat Flower Festival is a unique brand of Da Lat. It aims to highlight the beauty of the city’s flowers whilst honouring growers and boosting the local flower industry. The event also serves as a centre for both local and international flower lovers and growers to interact and exchange their experiences, as well as promoting the provincial tourism industry.
