Cultural and art exchange boosts Vietnam – RoK ties
VOV.VN - A cultural and art exchange programme was held on August 25 in the central coastal city of Da Nang as part of efforts to further foster the friendly relationship between the peoples of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
The scheme has attracted the participation of artists and representatives of various Korean businesses, along with more than 800 workers, labourers, and trade union members based in the city.
The event is part of activities held to mark the 31st anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations in December 22, 1992. This will help to contribute to further strengthening cultural exchanges whilst promoting the friendly relationship between the two peoples, especially workers in Da Nang.
Upon addressing the function, Jang Won Hyeok, chairman of Masan Trade Union, emphasized that both sides have enjoyed a joyful friendship of more than 30 years, adding that the relationship will further prosper moving forward.
He expressed his hope that, through the cultural exchange activities, Da Nang will continue to become an ideal venue for Vietnamese - Korean cultural exchanges in the future.
At the programme, many unique art performances featuring typical Vietnamese and Korean cultural characteristics were held.
