Cultural activities celebrate Vietnam-Laos solidarity friendship year
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is set to launch a special space aimed at introducing Vietnamese culture, landscapes, and people in Laos to mark the Vietnam – Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2022.
The event will get underway at the Laos National Cultural Palace in the Laotian capital of Vientiane from July 18 to July 21 and will feature a wide range of activities.
The exhibition will put 60 photographs on display showcasing Vietnamese world heritage sites recognised by UNESCO.
Furthermore, local designer Lan Huong will introduce her Ao Dai, traditional long dress, collection in another exhibition.
Most notably, the event will see a special area launched to promote images of the ancient city of Hoi An, whilst items related to National Tourism Year 2022 held in the central province of Quang Nam will also be showcased.
It will present dozens of photos about the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) which was recently hosted by Vietnam.
