Culinary week brings a glimpse of Hungarian culture to Vietnam
VOV.VN - A culinary week opening with the theme of “A Tapestry of Hungarian Tastes” is being held in Hanoi as part of celebrations to share the joy of Hungarian cuisine.

Diners have the chance to savour a delightful buffet showcasing iconic dishes from the “Heart of Europe” that have been expertly prepared by guest chef Béla Prohászka, vice president of the Association of Hungarian National Values and Hungarikums.
Goulash, which is one of the national dishes of Hungary loved by both Hungarians and foreigners, is introduced at the event.
The Hungarian delicacy dates back to the 10th century and is a soup or stew of meat and vegetables seasoned with paprika and other spices. It is a common meal predominantly eaten in Central Europe as well as other parts of Europe.
Furthermore, famous Hungarian food such as goose liver and gundel pancakes will be brought to the week.
The event is being jointly organised by the Embassy of Hungary in Vietnam and Hanoi Daewoo Hotel in celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary (February 1950 – 2025).
The culinary week will last through to March 21.
