Cua Lo to host first hot air balloon festival
VOV.VN - A festival showcasing hot air balloons is set to be held for the first time at several locations throughout the beach town of Cua Lo in the central province of Nghe An from July 15 to July 17.
The event is viewed as being one of the most outstanding activities of the town during this year’s tourism season.
The festival will see one big balloon put on display to allow guests to visit and snap photographs.
They will have chance to admire an overview of Cua Lo beach through 16 other hot air balloons which will fly 50 metres off the ground.
The balloons are scheduled to go up between 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., and once again between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The price of tickets to see the stationary balloons will be VND25,000, equal to US$1.07, per person, while a flight costs VND200,000, equal to US$8.56, per person.
