Contest launched to uncover talented child authors
VOV.VN - The fourth edition of the Bouquet of Children's Stories Contest was launched in Hanoi on March 25, with the story creation contest being only open to students in primary and secondary schools across the country.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Umeda Kunio stated that the contest represents one part of the cultural activities that can promote friendly ties between the nation and Japan.
The contest consists of three categories which are open to primary school students, secondary school students, and one for all age groups.
The first, second, third, and consolation prizes will be awarded in each category, with a special prize set to include a free five-day tour to Japan. Each contestant is able to send several entries, with the deadline being in May.
An award-giving ceremony is also set to be held in Hanoi on October 20.
All winning prizes will then be translated into Japanese and subsequently published as part of a bilingual Vietnamese - Japanese collection.
The amount of money collected from book sales will then be donated to Vietnamese learning promotion funds.
The annual contest is being co-organized by ENEOS Group company JX Nippon Oil & Energy Vietnam Consulting and Holdings Co., Ltd. (JXEV), and Japanese Mogu Bookworm project. It first began in 2018 as a means of commemorating the founding anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam.
