Concert to mark founding anniversary of Italian Consulate General in HCM City
VOV.VN - A concert and a book introduction ceremony for chamber music lovers will be held on June 16 to celebrate the 10th founding anniversary of the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
Following a successful concert held in Hanoi in March, the upcoming concert La Passione will take place in Ho Chi Minh City in June before heading to Italy in July.
Professor Gianni Kriscak, the main author of the research book History of Italian Opera, will join the event alongside Vietnamese singers Hien Nguyen and Quoc Dat.
Professor Kriscak studied violin and piano at the G. Tartini Conservatory in Trieste, Italy. He went on to study piano before conducting in Hamburg and Lübeck.
In 1999 he became a professor and taught at the University and the Japan Opera Association. He currently teaches at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria.
