Clip on Vietnamese culinary art introduced in the US
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Embassy in the United States hosted a ceremony on December 20 to launch a video clip on the Art of Vietnamese Cuisine.
The video clip was made by the Vietnamese Embassy in support of major Vietnamese restaurants in Washington, Maryland and Virginia.
Addressing the event, Charge D’affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy Hoang Thi Thanh Nga noted the video was shot to promote Vietnam’s culinary art and welcome international friends to the Southeast Asian nation.
Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, she said bilateral relations between Vietnam and the US have developed strongly, with the two-way trade set to reach US$100 billion this year.
She informed participants on Vietnam’s pilot scheme on reopening international commercial air routes to a number of destinations worldwide, aiming to restore tourism services and trade exchanges.
Vietnam remains a safe and attractive destination for travelers and investors from the US as its vaccination rate now stands at 62%, affirmed the diplomat.
