Classical music fest to kick off in Hanoi

(VOV) -A music festival that will include dozens of concerts and host several world-renowned performers playing ‘well-known and little-known classics of Vietnamese and American music’ is set to kick off in Hanoi.
The ‘hits’ played at the event will include works by Bui Cong Duy, Nguyen Trong Binh, Ngo Hoang Linh, Nguyen Cong Thang, Pham Truong Son, Le Minh Hien and Dao Mai Anh.
The festival will also include world premieres of works by well-known classic music artists like Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, Dutch artistic director & recorder Paul Leenhouts, baroque violinists Cynthia Roberts from the US and Ania Bard-Schwarz from Poland and talented Chinese violinist Zhan Shu.
It will run August 19-22 in Hanoi at the Vietnam National Academy of Music 77 Hao Nam Str, Dong Da Distr.
