- A tough task for Taekwondo artists at Olympic Games
Chau lost to No.2 seed Wei Chen Yang of Taipei in the qualifying round on August 8.
The Vietnamese martial artist, who bagged a bronze medal at the 2011 world championship, had previously beaten Wei at the Asian Olympic qualifier and the Asian championship in HCM City.
Another Vietnamese representative in the taekwondo event, Chu Hoang Dieu Linh will meet No.6 seed Helena Fromm from Germany in the first round of the 67kg category on August 10. This will prove to be a huge challenge for Linh, who is attending her first Olympics.
