Cham ethnic minority group’s pottery on display

A collection of over 350 pottery artefacts dating back to the 14th-19th century of the Cham ethnic minority group are being displayed at an exhibition that opened in the south central province of Ninh Thuan on December 8.

Artefacts displayed at the event 
The objects, including ceramic vases and tea pots, were collected by Thai Hung Lam from Da Lat city in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong.

Ho Si Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province, said the collection is special in both quantity and quality with historical and artistic values.

The exhibition aims to introduce visitors about the unique features of pottery making of the Cham ethnic people in Ninh Thuan.

It will be open to the public until May 8, 2019.
