Blackpink again turns to Vietnamese fashion brand for new comeback
VOV.VN - The girl band Blackpink from the Republic of Korea (RoK) left an impression on fans by choosing futuristic-style outfits designed exclusively for them by the Vietnamese fashion brand Feng for the MV teaser GO.
On February 27 Blackpink released their music video GO and quickly attracted over 22 million views on YouTube channel in a short period of time. Besides the melody and impressive choreography, viewers paid special attention to the outfits worn by the four girls in the MV, as all were futuristic designs from the Vietnamese fashion brand Feng.
The four members - Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa - appeared in form-fitting outfits featuring bold cut-outs at the chest and waist. Each outfit was meticulously crafted to ensure flexibility during dance movements.
Designer Lim Feng, founder of the Feng brand, shared that Blackpink's longtime stylist Jang Hee Jun directly contacted the brand, asking them to create outfits for the girl band. Based on the client's stringent requirements, Feng's team spent over a week on creating the outfits before releasing the final designs.
Futuristic clothing blends sci-fi aesthetics with innovative materials like metallics, holographics, and smart fabrics. For Blackpink, these outfits are not only a fashion style but also contribute to affirming the group's pioneering and modern image in the international music scene.
This isn't the first time Blackpink has chosen outfits from a Vietnamese fashion brand. Previously, Jennie wore Feng designs in the MV Zen and during promotional shoots for Red Light, signaling the group’s growing interest in Vietnamese fashion talent.
Debuting in August 2016 under YG Entertainment, Blackpink quickly rose to become one of the most influential girl groups worldwide. Despite releasing only two full-length albums, the quartet has dominated global charts with multiple hit singles. The K-pop group’s official YouTube channel currently holds an impressive milestone of approximately 30 billion total views.
In 2023, Blackpink held their first concerts in Hanoi, Vietnam, attracting more than 60,000 fans. In 2025, the group continued their global impact with the Deadline world tour, marking a highly anticipated reunion after nearly three years of individual activities.
Founded in late 2021 by Lim Feng and his brother Dylan (Phung Quang Dat), Feng is a Vietnamese fashion label known for its bold, edgy aesthetic and pioneering use of 3D technology in garment construction.
Prior to working with Blackpink, Feng collaborated with prominent Vietnamese figures such as Chau Bui and Wren Evans, and launched notable collections including Bodega Revisited Fall 24 and Resort 2026.
