Black and white photo exhibition takes place in Da Lat

A photo exhibition is ongoing in Da Lat City, located in the Central Highlands region, featuring artworks on the people and landscapes of this resort town.

The event, which kicked off on December 27 and will close on January 2 at Thuy Ta Restaurant, showcases 40 black and white photos of the residents and scenery of the ‘flower city.’

All the photos were taken by four Vietnamese photographers, three of whom were born in this resort town.

“We hope that the exhibition would encourage people to love and treasure their hometown more,” Pham Anh Dung, one of the artists, said.

Besides depicting the landscapes, the photographers’ artworks also describe changes over time in Da Lat’s people and architecture, especially what has been caused by urbanization.
