Belgian jazz band to perform in Vietnam
(VOV) -The famous Belgian jazz band Tricycle will perform two concerts in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on March 18 and19.
The concerts, organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism’s Performing Arts Centre and the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam, mark the 40th year of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
Tricycle was first formed as the opening act for circus performances. It had already become an internationally respected jazz trio only one year later.
The skill and charisma of the band’s accordionist Tuur Florizoone has made him one of Belgium’s favourite musicians.
Together with Vincent Noiret on bass and Phillipe Laroy playing flute and saxophone, Tricycle’s global reputation continues to grow.
