Beauty queens to judge Miss World Vietnam 2023
VOV.VN - Luong Thuy Linh, a Top 12 finisher at Miss World 2019, has been selected as deputy head of the judging panel for the upcoming Miss World Vietnam 2023 beauty pageant.
Miss Vietnam 2018 Tieu Vy and Do Thi Ha, Top 13 at Miss World 2020, will serve as jury members for the contest.
Most notably, the judges consist of fashion designer Le Thanh Hoa whose outfits have been worn by international celebrities such as Kathryn Newton, Bebe Rexha, and Bella Thorne.
The Miss World Vietnam 2023 beauty pageant started to receive registrations from contestants as of March 1.
The details of the beauty contest’s schedule have yet to be unveiled.
Last year saw Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, a 23-year-old from Dong Nai province, crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 at the final round held in Quy Nhon on August 12.
She received a VND300 million cash reward and a crown called Ocean Lotus.
Meanwhile, the first runner-up Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc received a prize of VND150 million whilst the second runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi received a prize of VND100 million.
Bao Ngoc went on to win Miss Intercontinental 2022 and Mai Phuong will represent Vietnam at Miss World 2023.
