Beauty queens gather for fashion show by designer Hoang Hai in Italy
VOV.VN - Vietnamese and foreign beauty queens will participate in a fashion show by renowned designer Hoang Hai in Venice, Italy on June 15 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Italy diplomatic ties.
The show themed “Armonia” will bring together Top 5 Miss Universe 2008 H’Hen Nie, Miss Vietnam 2018 Tieu Vy and Miss Universe Italy 2021 Caterina Di Fuccia. They will join other Vietnamese and foreign models to perform three collections featuring Ao Dai (traditional long dress), wedding dresses and evening gowns.
Designer Hoang Hai shared that the outfits are inspired from beautiful landscapes and architectural works of both Vietnam and Italy.
In particular, the three collections would help viewers get deeper insights into understand more about the traditional craft of Vietnamese hand embroidery, he said.
Hoang Hai began his professional career in 2000, after his collections were introduced at leading fashion shows in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
So far he has showcased many of his exquisite collections in London, Paris, Milan, Florence, Tokyo, and Dubai and dressed stars for Cannes Film Festivals, Miss World, and Miss Universe, among many others.
