Ba Ria-Vung Tau Culture and Tourism Festival opens
(VOV) - A gala performance was held on the evening of February 17 to open the 2013 Ba Ria-Vung Tau Culture and Tourism Festival called “Green Aspiration”.
Tran Minh Sanh, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee said the festival aims to introduce the province as a safe destination for tourists.
Other major culture, sports and tourism events scheduled for 2013 will include the 5th International Kite Festival, the Nghinh Ong Festival (Whale Worshipping Festival), the International Seaport Festival, the second Vietnamese Trademark Fair and the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.
