Australian television show to have free screenings nationwide

VOV.VN - The Australian Embassy in Vietnam is set to hold multiple free screenings of ABC Kids’ Bluey, Australia’s most popular children’s television show, in major cities across the country in June and July.

The purpose of the event is to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of Australia-Vietnam diplomatic ties.

Free screenings of the animated series will be available at CGV Vincom Metropolis in Hanoi, the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in Ho Chi Minh City, CGV Vincom Riverview Complex in Da Nang, and CGV Sense City in Can Tho.

Three episodes of Bluey are set to be screened with a Vietnamese voiceover, including “Grannies”, “Beaches”, and “The Magic Xylophone”, with each episode lasting for a total of seven minutes.

Bluey is an Australian pre-school animated television series that initially premiered on ABC Kids on October 1 back in 2018.

The show follows Bluey, an anthropomorphic six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who is characterised by her abundance of energy, imagination, and curiosity of the world around her. The young dog lives with her father, Bandit; her mother, Chilli; and her younger sister, Bingo. The trip regularly join Bluey on adventures as they embark on imaginative play together. 

Bluey won the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Children’s Programme and an International Emmy Kids Award back in 2019.
