Asian children's illustrated diary contest launched nationwide
VOV.VN - A nationwide illustrated diary contest has been launched for children aged 6 to 12, with top entries to represent Vietnam at the Asian Children’s Enikki Festa 2026-2027 in Japan.
Organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition in coordination with the Department of International Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the competition is open to children born between 2014 and 2020 from primary schools, cultural houses, and arts clubs across the country.
Participants are free to choose their own topics, depicting their daily lives, families, friends, local customs, traditional festivals, school activities, or hometown heritage to share Vietnamese culture with young peers across Asia.
Each entrant must submit a set of three paintings depicting a unified theme or story. Organizers will award eight prizes to the best sets, with first-prize (Category A) winners selected for exhibition and regional award judging in Japan.
Submissions are open through October 15, 2026, and should be sent directly to the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition at 38 Cao Ba Quat Street, Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi.
