ASIAD 17: Vietnam wins bronze medals in wushu, fencing
(VOV) - Vietnam won its fifth and sixth bronze medals at the Incheon Asian Games on September 23.
Wushu athlete Nguyen Thanh Tung scored 19.24 points coming in third in the men’s taijijian event.
Chen Zouli from the Philippines came in first, while Daniel Paranrac also from the Philippines won silver.
Meanwhile a Vietnamese fencer took a third place finish in the men’s team event earning a bronze medal.
This brings the Vietnamese medal tally for ASIAD 17 to one gold medal, two silver and six bronze medals.
