Artists to gather for Autumn Melodies festival in HCM City next week
VOV.VN - Dozens of Vietnamese and international artists are set to perform at the Arts Festival Autumn Melodies 2025 which is scheduled to take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House from August 15 to 24.

The 10-day festival will feature many programmes, covering various art genres like symphony concerts, chamber music, vocal music, and classical ballet. Artists will use the event to introduce the quintessence of world art and several outstanding works of Vietnam to the public.
Autumn Melodies 2025 will open with a music programme on August 15, offering an emotionally charged musical journey through patriotic works such as "Hồ Chí Minh đẹp nhất tên Người" (Ho Chi Minh - the Most Beautiful Name), "Lá đỏ" (Red Leaves), "Trường ca sông Lô" (Epic of the Lo River), and "Tổ quốc tôi chưa đẹp thế bao giờ" (My Beautiful Country).
These works will be performed by famous artists, namely People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artists Pham Khanh Ngoc, Pham Trang, Pham Duyen Huyen, and Dao Mac under the baton of conductor Le Ha My.
Furthermore a wide range of activities will be held as part of the festival, including a chamber music night on August 16, Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 “Titan” Concert on August 17, a vocal and choral concert on August 20, “Swan Lake” ballet workshop on August 22, and performance of excerpts from the ballet on August 23.
The festival will close with the “Beethoven Symphony No. 9” concert on August 24.
Conductor of German orchestra Kerstin Behnke, choreographer Johanne Jakhelln Constant from Norway, trumpeter Arseniy Kostenko from Russia, dancer Chika Tatsumi from Japan, singer Dao To Loan from Hanoi, along with artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) will participate in the festival.
