Archers rank second in regional competition
Vietnam took second place in the fifth Southeast Asian (SEA) Archery Championships, which was wrapped up in Myanmar on January 14.
The team bagged four gold, five silver and six bronze medals to finish second behind hosts Myanmar, who had nine golds, four silvers and three bronzes. Third place went to Malaysia with three golds, four silvers and one bronze.
The event, which offered a chance for teams to hone their skills in preparation for the upcoming SEA Games in Myanmar, attracted six teams from around the region.
