Another Vietnamese model invited to Victoria’s Secret in-person casting
VOV.VN - Vietnamese model Nguyen Tu Ny said she has received an invitation to attend an in-person casting round for Victoria’s Secret, the US-based lingerie brand, following runner-up Truong Tri Truc Diem.
Tu Ny drew attention on May 6 after posting a video announcing that she had passed the preliminary round and received an official casting invitation from the US fashion brand.
The 29-year-old model said she was excited about the opportunity and is stepping up fitness training while adjusting her diet to achieve her best physical condition ahead of the casting session scheduled for mid-May.
Born in 1997 in Soc Trang province, Nguyen Tu Ny is 1.73 meters tall and has measurements of 80-59-90 cm. She has spent nearly six years working in the modeling industry in Vietnam and Singapore, and is currently developing her career mainly in the US.
The model previously competed in Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 and has worked with luxury brands including Bottega Veneta, Cartier, Chopard and Marc Jacobs.
Before Tu Ny, runner-up Truong Tri Truc Diem also drew attention after receiving a casting invitation from Victoria’s Secret. Meanwhile, runner-up Hoang Thuy has joined a model selection program for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026 and is hoping to secure a contract with IMG Models after several attempts in New York, London and Paris.
Victoria’s Secret organizers said this year’s recruitment process has been expanded to include in-person casting sessions in several US cities, including Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Chicago. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, not be tied to contracts with other agencies, and be legally eligible to work in the US.
Candidates who pass the selection rounds may have the opportunity to appear at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026, expected to take place this fall, and could also secure contracts with IMG Models.
Organizers described the event as “a celebration of fashion, entertainment, music and culture.”
