Anh Vien takes more gold at US tourney

(VOV) - Vietnamese famous swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien on the morning of March 30 (Vietnam time) bagged her fourth gold medal at the NASA Junior National Championships Cup in Florida, the US.

Vien triumphed in the women’s 200-yard butterfly swimming event (clocked at 1:56:49) and earned her fourth gold at the champs.

In the final round, Anh Vien tried her utmost to take the lead, overtaking her rival Megan Brown from Greenwood Club in New England State by 2 seconds.

The silver medal and bronze medal went to Megan Brown and Emily Parillo, respectively.

Anh Vien made a great success in the six swimming events, bringing home a total of 6 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

With the excellent achievements, she was selected as No1 swimmer at this US tournament.
