“Anh trai ‘Say Hi’ 2024” to return with ninth concert
VOV.VN - After staging eight concerts in Vietnam and the US, the entertainment program “Anh trai ‘Say Hi’ 2024” has announced it will hold a ninth concert, continuing a concert series that has gained strong support from audiences who follow Vietnamese pop music.
The information was released by the Vie Concerts fanpage and quickly captured attention from young audiences, particularly on the Threads platform, where fan communities have been highly active. Within 20 hours of the announcement, the platform’s trending rankings recorded more than 273,000 mentions, a figure that rose to 2 million mentions in the following 12 hours.
The ninth concert is seen as a gesture of appreciation for audiences who have accompanied the program throughout its journey.
Previously, “Anh trai ‘Say Hi’ 2024” held eight concerts, including six in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and two in the United States, attracting strong audience turnout.
Launched in mid-2024, the program was created and produced by DatVietVAC Group Holdings and became a digital cultural phenomenon, recording more than 18 billion views across online platforms. Many of its performances topped trending charts on YouTube, Spotify and iTunes, while the program remained a frequent topic on social media.
Its popularity has also been reflected in the dedication of audiences, with many traveling hundreds of kilometers or flying from abroad to attend the concerts. Fan-organized projects have further helped spread the program’s influence.
“Anh trai ‘Say Hi’ 2024” was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as an outstanding performance program of 2024 and included in the Top 10 cultural, sports and tourism events of the year.
In addition, the show won many prestigious awards such as digital phenomenon of the year at the Vietnam iContent Awards 2024, Golden Apricot Blossom Award, Green Wave 2024, and the title of entertainment phenomenon of the year at Star of the Year 2024.
