‘America's Top Models’ smile and pose in Hoi An

(VOV) - Nyle DiMarco, the latest winner of the ‘America's Next Top Model’ Cycle 22 contest and first ever deaf contestant, along with runner up Mame Adjei recently smiled and posed for the camera in Hoi An.

Though the win was a leap forward for 26-year-old Nyle's career, the star says he always places more importance on properly representing the deaf community.

He says American Sign Language (ASL) has made him uniquely equipped to express himself using movement, which is very important to modelling.

“I also hope my win will inspire deaf people to do whatever they want to do in life,” he says. “The possibilities are endless!”

Mame Adjei is a 23-year-old Ghanaian-American woman and a former Miss USA contestant, who walked away with the fourth runner up spot, which is quite an accomplishment.

Both her parents are Ghanaians and her father became a diplomat after studying in India— something that inspired her to set her goals in life very high.

They are in Vietnam to model for the latest autumn/winter 2015 fashion collection of famed designer Do Manh Cuong.
