9 countries to take part in Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025
VOV.VN - The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) is scheduled to take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025, on the theme “Da Nang - A New Era” to 50 years of integration and development for the city.
For the first time, the number of participating teams will increase from 8 to 10, including 2 teams representing Vietnam and 8 international teams, according to the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
The festival will last for nearly two months, with six competition nights to be held on Saturdays between teams from Vietnam and Finland, Vietnam and Poland, Canada and China, Portugal and the UK, and the Republic of Korea and Italy.
July 12 will see the top two teams play in the final round to find out the winners of the competition.
Each competition night will feature vibrant artistic performances, including appearances by international artists and musical talents.
The festival will incorporate augmented reality (AR) technology to enhance the fireworks viewing experience. Visitors can enjoy virtual fireworks displays through a mobile application.
Da Nang will host various sidelines events such as food festivals, parades, exhibitions, boat races, concerts, Asian film festivals, drone light shows, and water motorcycle performances, offering diverse experiences to visitors.
DIFF 2025 promises to be a summer highlight to attract tourists and contribute to revenue growth in the tourism industry. It reinforces Da Nang’s position as a premier event and festival destination in Asia.
