1950’s Hanoi on show through Le Van Xuong’s artworks

VOV.VN -More than 100 artworks of renowned late artist Le Van Xuong will be displayed for the public at ‘Dieu Ky Dieu’ (The Miracle) exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City from September 21-23.

The late artist used powder pigments in his paintings depicting the atmosphere of Hanoi in the 1950s.
Following are several paintings that will be displayed at the exhibition:
A view of Quan Su Pagoda.
Hang Buom Street
O Quan Chuong (Quan Chuong Gate)
Gam Cau Street
Tran Nhat Duat Street
Hang Dong Street
Hang Da Street
Tran Quoc Pagoda
A portrait of the late artist Le Van Xuong. Born in 1917, he produced a total of 1,000 paintings and about 100 sculptures. He passed away in 1998 in Ho Chi Minh City.
