15-year-old launches Ao Dai collection in UK to celebrate Tet

VOV.VN - Vietnamese teenager Anna Hoang debuted a new Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) collection inspired by the Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet, on February 17 at House of iKons Fashion Week London.

A total of 20 outfits of the Love Collection brand for adults and children were introduced at the event, recreating the festiev atmosphere in the homeland on the first days of the new lunar year, while also conveying a message of prosperity and good luck.

The House of iKons Fashion Week is held within the framework of the prestigious London Fashion Week in February and September annually. This season has attracted the participation of hundreds of models and designers from various countries, including Vietnam, the United States, Italy, Finland, the UK, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Anna Hoang, 15, won the first runner-up title at the Miss Eco Teen International 2023 contest held in Egypt.

She grew up in London in the UK. Since 2017, she has participated in and initiated many social activities in her neighbourhood, serving to help connect the Vietnamese community based in the UK.

Love Collection was founded back in 2019 by duo Anna Hoang and Emily Nguyen to honour and promote Vietnamese culture through the traditional costumes of Vietnamese women. The designers wish to spread and inspire love globally with the name Love Collection.
